An artist friend suggested we check out the Sculpture Splash show on the weekend. There was a wide variety of work in mediums from wood to stone to metal.
I think that if I would have been more stationary in my youth{{1}} I might have become a sculpture. I like the 3 dimensional artwork. I think I may be attracted to the play of light on the forms. On that note, one of my favourite pieces was called “moon dance” and was a complete play with light. Throughout the day the sun shone through a hole and let up the other side of the form playing out the phases of the moon. This was my interpretation…
