A couple of photos of my kids taken yesterday that show their different personalities.
My son, although older, is more adventurous and playful. From an artistic point of view, I went black and white to emphasize the moment over place. The colours of his shirt and the background were a bit distracting.
I really like this photo.
My Daughter isn’t shy, but she doesn’t like having her photo taken{{1}}. She is also very creative and abstract, so this photo suites her as well.
I would class these both as casual portraits. Both kids were being themselves. I just happened to recognize the moments…
[[1]]I always thought the phrase “Taking a Photo” was wrong in many ways. The image may be recorded, but it still exists. The phrase also seems to simplify the photography process. “Making a Photo” is probably more accurate, but still not completely correct.[[1]]
