The 4 points are applicable to a lot of things in life, including photography:
- Master the basics, then be expressive
- Make up your own rules
- Surround yourself with things you lovethey will inspire you
- Dont let anything keep you from making art
I would add another:
5. Be Passionate.
There was a line in an old song, “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with…”. I always took this to mean, Always find the best in a situation until you get to where you want to be.
